Megan Barlog wrote her first story when she was six and thanks to ample encouragement from family, friends, and teachers, she’s been writing ever since. Her short story “The Escape,” included in Sleigh Ride: A Winter Anthology, is her first publication, which was quickly followed by “A Child’s Suicide” and “The Girl Who Saved the World” – both of which were published in California State University Northridge’s literary magazine, the Northridge Review. She is currently hard at work on several novels which she hopes to complete and publish.
Megan currently lives in California with her parents, two sisters, two brothers, and a Welsh Springer Spaniel named Casey. She graduated California State University, Northridge, in December 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in English and an emphasis in Creative Writing.
